Welcome to Ride Monthly! One annual Ride for Kids participant has been quoted as saying, "The Ride for Kids is like Christmas to me!" A bit extreme? Perhaps. But we get it. You look forward to the Ride. So do we. That's why we'd like to stay in touch with you all year long!
Chances are you already know a little bit about the Rodman Ride for Kids. You might be a rider, one of our generous donors, an attendee-turned-star-of-the-dance-floor at Celebration for Kids, or maybe you've volunteered at an event in the past. Whatever your connection may be, we want to be sure that you really know what we're all about!
The Ride is a collaborative effort between some of the state's top non-profit organizations that work with kids. These agencies (that, let's face it, are normally competing for funds) work together with the Ride for Kids office to reach both individual and collective fundraising goals. And when they do, they are rewarded with a 15% matching gift.
The Ride event is the day when our family of over 2,000 cyclists, volunteers, donors and agency representatives come together to celebrate their impressive fundraising accomplishments, remember their common goal of helping kids, and indulge in some really tasty BBQ.
Want to know more? Well, you're in luck! The 6th edition of our annual newsletter, The Ride Report, is hot off the presses. Take a look!
You'll find out even more about what we do, who we do it for, and most importantly - the incredible kids in your community who benefit.
See you next month!
