Summertime means ants are coming inside, mostly looking for water. A very effective, non-toxic, way to get rid of them is with borax; it is available in any hardware store. Just sprinkle it on their trails, the ants will take it back to their nest,

will go away.

I'm Engaged
Now that we are all on Facebook or Twitter or some other Social Media site, or asking ourselves "if not why not?" it is time to  investigate if we are using your social media to good advantage. It is all too easy to get caught up in surfing; it can be a huge time waster.
The first question to ask yourself is "What are your reasons for being involved? What are your goals for your pages or postings? , Are you getting the results you expected? "
If your page is just intended for your Family
to share pictures and events then you probably don't need help with it. However, if your presence is meant to grow your business then it needs more care and attention.
It is important that you post something every day; the more that you post, the better the results will be. Your best response will come if you check for comments and post three times a day. Once  in the morning to look for last night's messages, midday for updates, and evening for reports. It is not important that you post only original material; you can repost from a friend or link to a news article.
To get the maximum results using Facebook, you have to engage, comment on other's posts, go directly to their pages, and send messages. Clicking "like" is like is like a wink "hello", but it
 does not really connect you; checking in on a home page and sharing content or comments does connect you. This is how relationships are nurtured. Remember that people do business with people they know and trust. Become trusted by engaging whenever you have a chance. The connection will be good for both of you.

 Your Money - Your Life Shopping Therapy How do you make your buying decisions? Are you inclined to have the latest and greatest or are you happy with just the necessities; or somewhere in between? Before you go shopping, you should have a list, or at least a  good idea of what you are looking for. It is very easy to get caught up in the moment and buy "stuff" if you don't have a list as a guideline. You should also keep in mind your budget; money spent on extras now may keep you from getting essentials later. Shopping is fun, and therapy for some people. Using caution can make it a real pleasure; throwing caution to the wind can cause serious problems to your financial health. |
