MUSINGS
I am at a loss as to what to write. My life has not been my own lately. What do you do to cope when your world is conspiring to keep you from moving forward? Some people choose to curl up in a ball and hide. Others succumb to their addictions, eating too much, drinking, or other bad for them habits.
The best advice I have been able to dig up is to make a list. List all your intended projects; break them up into small efforts, you will feel better as you can cross them off the list. Remember that it is easy to move a mountain if you do it one spoonful at a time. Once you have compiled your list prioritize it; what is most important to your health and welfare. Delegate tasks to your family or friends, or consider hiring help.
You are likely to find that some of the items on your list have no importance at all and can just be crossed off without action. You will also find that you will start feeling better as you start to tally the crossed off items; progress will overcome your inertia.
You may only be able to take the trash out or do the grocery shopping, but these little steps are in the right direction and will help you to keep moving forward. Soon you will have control of your world again and wonder why you ever let chaos take over.
