My Hero
Do you have a comprehensive inventory of your belongings? It is very important if you every have to make an insurance claim. You will need to verify what you had and what condition it was in. The simplest way to do this is via video. For example; I had my friend, Arnold, who is a professional photographer film my house. It is also a lot of fun to have it on YouTube ans be able to show my out of town friends how I live.
Just contact Arnold and he will be happy to tell you just what you need.

MUSINGS
Where Do They All Come From? I'm visiting my father in Southern California and am astounded at the number of people and amount of traffic in his part of the world. It's said that this area is build on the automobile; from looking around I'm sure that the pundits are right. My parents moved to this area a dozen years ago. Their house was an easy two mile drive from the nearest freeway with only one traffic light. Now the same street has 14 lights, three with cameras. The entire length of it is lined with small shopping centers; they feature primarily empty shops. There seems to be more than enough traffic to support all these mini shopping centers. The challenge of the neighborhood is the traffic. Nobody in the Inland Empire walks; they all drive, everywhere. They also all leave their manners at home. As they dart in and out of the myriad of strip malls they cut each other off, they don't maintain speeds to match the traffic, and they usually turn without signals. It's up to you to guess what they are about to do. This traffic situation is not unique to this area, nor is the amount of rudeness. It is also happening in your backyard. Unfortunately the extreme rudeness leads to flaredt empers and accidents. Certain people should not be allowed to drive, they are just too volatile. Rudeness is not limited to driving. We see it in grocery stores, schools, doctor's offices, everywhere people congregate. It seems we aren't we taught that politeness is infectious and much less stressful than being rude and having to defend ourselves. Just saying hello to a stranger can put a smile on their face, letting them cut in from of you in traffic can make their whole day. You won't get to your destination any later (seconds don't count), but you will have given a gift to a stranger that will make you both feel better and that good feeling is transmittable to everyone you meet. | |

How Money Works
Did you know that you can easily figure out how fast you can double your money. Just divide 72 by your cureent interest rate (example: 72 / 8% = 9) and you will see, in this example, that it will take 9 years for that investment to double. If you raise the interest rate you will shorten the time factor. Albert Einstein developed this formula and considered it "It is the greatest mathematical discovery of all time" This very powerful tool is helpful in doing your financial planning and can be applied to both savings and spending options.
