 Cpl. John Peck

USMC

Please keep

 Cpl. John Peck

In your thoughts and prayers.

On May 24, 2010, while on patrol in Afghanistan, Cpl. John Peck, a mortar man with the 3rd Battalion, 1st Marines Weapons Company assigned in Helmund Provence, encountered an IED with catastrophic results.   Cpl. Peck, a Antioch Township resident and 2004 graduate of Antioch High School, has lost his left leg to the hip, his right leg to his thigh, his left arm below the elbow, and his right arm above the elbow.  He has also suffered severe unresolved stomach and abdominal wounds and is currently at the Naval Hospital in Bethesda, MD.

This was Cpl John Peck's second tour of duty after also being wounded by an IED and  sniper fire in Iraq during his first deployment.  Cpl Peck is married and recently celebrated his 24th birthday.

Due to his families financial situation.  A special donation account for USMC Cpl John Peck has been opened at the State Bank of the Lakes, 440 Lake Street, Antioch, IL 60002.
