My name is Meshack Ochieng. I am from the East African country of Kenya, where I am the number two ranked national bodybuilder.

When I started lifting weights some ten years ago, I did not have any aim in life.  My sole purpose was to attend discos almost every weekend and have a good time.  Because of my physique I was able to get any woman that I desired.  This all seemed fun until I got the scare of my life.  To the best of my knowledge, I had been infected with AIDS.  I had not been tested but there was no reason that I should not have the disease.

A few years ago Evangelism International held a gospel crusade and I was invited to attend.  In the crusade I heard Evangelist Gene Strickland share how God loved me and how I could have eternal life and peace with God.  I didn't know why God would want me, but I gave my heart to Him and was saved.  Since that day, my life has been totally different.

I was tested for AIDS and I believe that it was a miracle, I tested negative for the disease.  I am now married and serving God with my talents.  From being a womanizer and seeker of pleasure to now holding seminars with fellow bodybuilders so that I can share about Jesus.  Now I put together events where young men and women can hear Christian songs and poems, watch dramas, and learn Bible verses.  I am able to do this through many different churches and I award the kids with the trophies I had won.

I am a Kenyan citizen and born again. I live about 132 km. (80 miles) from where you held a crusade a few years ago. Last year I came across a book called "I AM FREE!" and read the whole book. This is the book you give out to new believers at your crusades. The message of the book has restored and built up my spiritual life in Christ.

We have to get this revelation to people who are still under Satan's captivity and tell them how they can become free! Through this book I have led 37 men to Christ and they are now active in our church. I only have the single copy of the book and everyone is wanting one. Please arrange for us to get copies so that we may read and build strong life in Christ. We want to fulfill what Jesus commanded His disciples to do, as you reminded us in your book. I pray that God will give you more revelations to that you write more literature that will spread His gospel to the entire world. God bless you so much as you perform His duties.
