Ghana - Only Days Ago
Just a few days ago, Evangelist Gene Strickland met with E.I. Africa Crusade Director Peter Atandi and local pastors in Tamale, Ghana to pray and vision-cast the planning of crusades in northern Ghana. This area of Ghana is predominately Muslim (roughly 85%) and in desperate need of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The picture to the right is of the Central Islamic Mosque in Tamale. There are hundreds of smaller ones in the city.
While there, plans were made for a crusade to be held in the Spring of 2011. Opportunities to preach the Gospel were offered during this short trip and God did not dissapoint. Numerous decisions for Christ were made, healings manifested, and lives transformed.
Please pray about your involvement in this upcoming work in western Africa. Gene and Peter meeting with the directors of the newly built soccer stadium in Tamale and making plans for it's use for a great gospel crusade.
Gene and Peter met with a Muslim man who was sick and had requested the Christians to pray for him. The Muslims in Africa recognize the power of the name of Jesus Christ!
