A few years ago Money magazine stated that families who have an annual income of $15,000 are in the top 5% of the world's wealthiest people and that an income of $19,500 would place us in the top 3% of the wealthiest people on the planet. No one can ever say that America is not blessed beyond measure even during the current economic times! |
Miracles Attest to the Power of God in India
 We receive reports almost weekly from our ministry partner in India. One of his latest letters tells the account of a young Hindu woman who would have died unless God did something.
The young lady is 28 years old. 12 months ago she was admitted into Medical College Hospital in India for complicated pregnancy and to deliver the baby. The Doctor who operated did damage to her uterus. She started to bleed profusely 24 hours a day for 45 days. Her hemoglobin level dropped to less than 5gms. She had Septicemia (blood poisoning) of the entire uterus and body. Her platelet count dropped to less than 10,000 (the normal range is over 150,000). Her platelet count was less than 10,000 for over a month. Every day, for one month, the doctors gave her a minimum of 4 bags of platelets. On one day that had to give her 10 bags of platelets. She was in hypotension and shock!
Her relatives took her to four other medical college hospitals in the state but all the doctors said, "There is no hope, she will not survive and she is not fit for surgery or any further medical treatment. Her body has not been producing platelets for over 45 days and we do not know the cause." Finally the doctors told her family to take her home to die.
However, on their way home they stopped at a church meeting that was taking place. At the end of the meeting the invitation to receive Christ was given. The family brought the young lady forward for prayer. The elders and ministers of the church laid hands on her for prayer and heaven heard. She was born again spiritually and was physically healed instantly!
The next day she went back to the hospital where her platelet count was checked. It was 200,000! She confessed that God had healed her. Through her healing, nearly her entire family has left Hinduism and trusted on Jesus Christ as Savior.
