Fred w/ Cat

Thanks for taking a look at our newsletter! We're a Florida-based business specializing in guided fossil-hunting tours, educational programs and now guided Eco-Tours on the waterways of Indian River County, Florida.

We're pleased to announce that we will once again be offering educational paleontology programs for New Jersey libraries this July. We will be bringing these programs to your area from July 11th through the 19th. We've kept our prices the same as last year and hope to see you when we bring our program "on the road" this summer. In the past we've done programs at many NJ libraries including Oradell, Bedminster,Bernardsville, Franklin Lakes, Hackensack, Randolph, Harrington Park, Wayne, Chatham and more. References are  available. Our program is described below and on our website.  To schedule  a program, call us at (772) 539-7005 or email us at fredmazza@paleodiscoveries.com and bring some fossil fun to your library this summer!

The "Fossil Discovery Hour" is a unique program that brings paleontology directly to the audience. It's a fun, hands-on, scientific educational program that is suitable for ages 6 up through adults. By no means is this program only for kids!

We'll bring the museum to you and then... we let you touch it! Our programs incorporate many real fossils such as mammoth and mastodon teeth, giant shark teeth and more. We also have saber-tooth cat and extinct lion skulls that allow you take a "bite" out of prehistory! In addition to learning about these amazing animals from the past we let participants hold and touch them so they can really see what these creatures were like. Not just a movie or powerpoint presentation- much more.

The intro to ancient life and hands-on section of the program are only the start. Next we do a fossil dig for real fossils such as shark teeth, stingray fossils, mammoth teeth, horse, camel, bison, fish, whale, dolphin and other fossil goodies that everyone gets to keep! Everyone will go home with more than a few real fossils from our Fossil Dig.

In addition, all participants get a chart to help identifiy their fossils.
