Good News for Earth Day from CTLCV!

The good news midway through the 2009 legislative session is that several bills that would have undermined our system of environmental protection have wisely been abandoned, such as the bill that would have exempted Oxford Airport's expansion from the Connecticut Environmental Policy Act and the bill that would have allowed a marine science magnet school to be built in a sensitive flood plain. Kudos to those legislators who put their foot down on those damaging bills.
