PINEAPPLE MANGO SALSA RECIPE
1 C chopped & peeled mango
1 C pineapple tidbits - canned, but preferably fresh
1/2 C diced sweet red pepper
1 plum tomato, seeded and chopped
3 TBSP minced fresh cilantro
2 green onions, sliced
2 TBSP lime juice
1 TBSP lemon juice
1 jalapeno pepper, finely chopped
Torilla Chips
In a large bowl, combine the first nine ingredients. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour or until chilled. Serve with tortilla chips. Yield: 2 - 2 2/3 cups
Remember to wear gloves when cutting hot peppers, avoiding contact with your face. |
