Bonnie's Valentine's Day Recipe

Strawberry Salad

Celebrate this Valentine's Day with a colorful salad perfect for any date.

Strawberry Salad

Romaine Lettuce
Diced Red Onion
Sliced Fresh Strawberries
Sliced, Grilled Chicken, if desired
Praline Almond Slivers *
Poppyseed Dressing *

* Praline Almond Slivers:

In a heavy pan, add almond slivers and sprinkle with white sugar. cook over medium high heat until sugar melts, stirring constantly. Watch carefully so sugar doesn't burn.

* Poppyseed Dressing:

1/3 cup Sugar

3/4 cup Mayonnaise

2 Tbsp white vinegar

1 Tbsp poppy seeds

1/4 cup Milk

--- Mix all together - I usually double or triple this recipe.
