Tropical Tidbits with Suzette

Planting parties are great for any occasion: birthdays, anniversaries, clubs, wedding showers, baby showers, or just for a girls' night out.

Pampered Planting Parties

For a few dollars more you can host a pampered planting party for your group. The Sweet Dream Party includes chocolates and coffee for $10 per guest, and the Ultimate Dream Party includes fondue fun for $15 per guest. Schedule a Kids Club Planting Party!

Reserve time with Beier's Greenhouse to host your own exclusive Kids Club Planting Party! For groups of 10 or more kids and two adults, must call to reserve your own special date. Kids 12 and under, for Girl Scouts, 4H, birthdays, or just a great play date. Plant container gardens or hanging baskets and learn all about growing things. Choose a Spaghetti Pot, Edible Flower Pot, Sunflower Pot, Tomato Lovers Pot, or Flower Lovers Pot. Cost is $5 per child, treats included, plants extra. Master Gardeners (No Reservation Needed)
May 29, Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
Master Gardeners will be sitting at their usual table again this year! They'll answer questions and visit with Beier's customers about any garden topic. Their wealth of knowledge is unmatched, and Beier's is honored to present the Master Gardeners again this year. All Master Gardeners donate their time. Let them know how much we appreciate the time and knowledge they share with us.

Trees, Trees, Trees! with Ken
June 12, Saturday, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Ken from Bailey's will park himself at Beier's to answer all your questions about trees and shrubs. He'll demonstrate correct pruning techniques and talk about deer deterrents and pest control. Ken has been in the nursery business for 20+ years and knows all the varieties of apple and fruit trees we can grow in Northern Minnesota, plus a few surprises! Drop in between 10 a.m. and noon; no reservation needed. You may receive 25 percent off a tree or shrub good only on June 12. Honduras Mission Trip: Giving Back to the World
Bonnie and Blake traveled to Honduras last winter to build much-needed housing for our friends in Central America.
