3-Minute Pasta Sauce
Serves 4

1 pound cooked pasta
8 tablespoons unsalted butter
10 whole fresh sage leaves
Hot water from cooking the pasta
Black pepper to taste
1 cup parmesean cheese

Melt butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the sage leaves and heat until sizzling gently. Reduce heat if the butter begins to smoke or brown. Toast the sage leaves for about 1 minute.

Ladle 1 cup of pasta cooking water into the pan. Simmer briskly for about 2 minutes to reduce by half.

Add pasta to sauce and toss. Add cheese just before serving.
