Beier's Specials This Week
Now through Saturday, August 16 |
What's on special this week? Let's just say everything is priced to sell!
- Most square pots are now $1.50 each.
- Most round pots are now $2.50 each.
- Every arrangement and hanging basket is special priced.
- Previous shipments of perennials are buy one, get one free. The new shipment is priced as is.
- Plus, garden art, pots, decorations, etc. are now 20 percent off, with very few exceptions.
- You can fill a box with pac plants (3-6 plants in a pac) for only $6.
While some of the other greenhouses in Grand Rapids have already closed their doors, we're still blooming strong. We'd never try to sell you the last dregs of yellow, leggy, icky plants--everything we've got out is beautiful, just for you.
We've got other specials popping up like weeds, so you never know what kind of wonderful deal you'll get.
There's still time to fill out your flower garden, or choose a few patio planters or hanging baskets to take home. Our plants are beautiful, but would look much nicer in YOUR garden. So stop in soon!

"Mahal Kita!"
We're growing in more ways than one at Beier's |
"Mahal kita!" is Hawaiian for "I love you." For those of us at Beier's Greenhouse, that phrase couldn't be more perfect. Our beautiful dog "Kita" is going to have puppies! This Chesapeake Retriever is fun, intelligent and loving, and our family enjoys her so much. We're excited to share the expectant mother's progress with you. According to the American Kennel Club, the Chesapeake Bay Retriever breed came about this way: "In 1807, an English brig shipwrecked off the coast of Maryland and two Newfoundlands were rescued from the cargo. When bred to local retrievers, including the English Otter Hound, Flat-Coat and Curly-Coated Retriever, the "Chessie" type developed. Bred to work on land and water, the Chesapeake Bay Retriever originally hunted waterfowl in rough and icy waters, often retrieving several hundred birds per day." (Source www.akc.org.) Kita's column will become a regular part of your Sunday emails when the greenhouse season ends. At least until October! |
