Hello!
We are having an Under-The-Racks sale!
Hundreds of items at 50% off!!!
That means that specified items (these are Fall/Winter items) are going to be
50% off the current price.
What exactly IS under the racks? Well.. as you have heard, we are have been getting so.... many consignments that we need to make some room on the racks. So, we have pulled some of the garments with minor imperfections, and stamped the tags, so that you can buy them,
on Saturday,
at 50% off the current price.

We now have the sign-up sheet available at Mother & Child.
Call 603 886 6727 asap for your 10-minute appointment(s)
The cost is $29 per silhouette (mounted on acid-free mat board)
copies (multiple copies cut at the same time) are $10 ea.
Frames are available for an additional $28.
Appointments are filling up fast.

Note: if you can't make it on the 14th, The Silhouette artists will be at 1 World in Portsmouth on November 28, and at 1 World in Nashua on December 12.

Saturday Nov. 28 = Photos with Santa 10-2
This is first-come, first-serve. Santa's elves will give you a number, as you arrive, and call you when it is almost your turn. Bring your own camera, and take photos to use for Holiday cards!
There is no fee for this event.

Consignment News
Consignment update:
Pls note: We highly reccommend that you call when you are on your way to Mother & Child, if you are bringing consignments, to confirm that we are able to take what you have to bring.
We DO need more very cool, Abercrombie/Hollister-type stuff for the 16/18/20 boys and young men, for the junior-size girls, and in size 10-14.
Regarding women's clothing, here is what we find is selling best:
Brand-name, better-quality, and more stylish tops and skirts.
We do not see much interest in coats, or any lingerie, and very little interest in business suits, and so, since our space is limited, we will no longer take these items for women. We are overloaded with women's pants, and so will take only the better quality, "modern-waist" pants. Shoes need to be stylish and leather, and better-brand, again, because our space is limited and this is what is selling better.
Also: we will only be taking Winter items: no short sleeves, at all, and no sandals, for example.
Please
remember that it is always best to call when you are on your way in
order to confirm that we are able to take whatever it is that you have
to consign. We do answer the telephone starting at 9AM.
We ask that you be sure of the following:
1. all items have been freshly and thoroughly cleaned;
2. you have not packed more than 30 items; and
3. you have called, on the day you are coming, to confirm
that we can take more of what you have to bring.
It is especially important, at this time of year,
1.that you call before you leave the house to bring consignments,
to ask if we have room for more of what you want to bring.

We do answer the telephone starting at 9 AM.
2. that you look at , sort, and count your consignment items at home,
instead of trying to sort them in the aisles at Mother & Child.
We usually look through consignments:
Mon 10 - 6:30
Wed 10 - 6:30
Fri 10 - 6:30
Sat 10 - 6:30
Note: This is Last Call for holiday outfits. No more will me accepted after Thanksgiving.
Remember, we no longer have a consignment toy department. (There were too many recall issues making it impossible for us to know what toys are and are not OK to sell.)
