Hello!
Great news!! We are now open until 7PM every Friday! Get a babysitter, do some shopping, and then maybe go out to dinner or a movie!!
If you have too many grocery or shopping bags piling
up in a closet somewhere, you can bring them to us. We will be happy
to re-use them here at Mother & Child.

If you are planning a baby shower, a birthday party or maybe a family gathering, may we suggest you make it a "green"event? You can buy plates, hot cups, cold cup, bowls, and trash bags at 1 World Trading Co. that are completely biodegradable/compostable. You can educate your guests by creating signs telling them what to throw in the "compostable" bag, what to recycle, and what must go in the trash.
We have more "green" ideas for you:
- Recently, we had customers who bought unbleached, cotton diapers as placemats and cotton baby wipes as the napkins for an all-natural-themed baby shower!
- A birthday party activity might include making crafts from "trash." I found this site: http://www.recycling-revolution.com/recycle-crafts.html but their are many others.

May Product Highlight: re-useable instead of disposable
We've got a great alternative to disposable diaper-change wipes:
We carry stainless steel, watertight food containers that could double as a holder for damp wipes. We also sell the flannel wipes made of unbleached cotton and we sell Dr Bronners Baby Super-Mild soap.
A few drops of soap, a 1/4 cup of water and three or four cloth wipes, in the stainless container, and you are on your way!

Consignment News
We are now accepting Summer clothing!
Generally, we are looking to accept items that
families will be shopping for in June/July:
Note: We are no longer able to take toys due to more strict Government regulations.
This week we need more:
safety gates, pack n play playpens
metal-framed, hiking backpacks
really nice-condition joggers
sit n stand strollers
booster high chairs, potty chairs,
communion outfits for boys
mall brand teen clothing for boys and girls
baseball pants and baseball cleats (cleaned thoroughly)
We look through up to 30 consignments:
Mon 10-6:30
Wed 10-6:30
Fri 10-6:30
Sat 10-6:30
(Please do not bring more than 30 with you. It is too
crowded in the backroom for you to find a spot to sort and count out 30
items while you are here. We appreciate your adherence to this policy
and so will the consignors who are in line with you. :) )

Spring is here and now is the perfect time to plan a trip to the Back Bay in Boston! Plan to walk around the Public Garden, take a ride on the Swan Boats, grab lunch at an outdoor cafe and... visit Keara at
Oak,

Spring is also a great time to visit Paul at
1 World Trading Co.
at 111 Main Street, Nashua. If you can plan to spend the afternoon, you may like to have a salon treatment at Verde, a green salon and then have lunch at the Seedling Cafe!
