Reminder: We made an Alternative Apparel special purchase... we got it at a discount and so you will get it at a discount! This line has been so popular. It is affordable --even at full price--, very cool, and it is incredibly comfortable!
Save the date...
Portraits in Silhouette will return to Mother & Child on Saturday, April 18! The Mother & Daughter team are scaling back their portrait event hours and so this will likely be their only date at Mother & Child before Mother's Day.
They have made so many parents happy. The likenesses that they create are amazing and they do it with black paper and a pair of scissors! There is no lighting or tracing involved.
Please call us at 603 886 6727 to set up a ten-minute appointment for each child.

April Product Highlight: Why buy used?
- When you shop consignment, you are helping to decrease the demand for excessive amounts of new clothing to be produced. The Garment industry takes a toll on the Earth. Buying recycled clothing helps you to reduce, reuse, recycle.
- When you buy previously-owned clothing, you are giving money to a local parent instead of a large out-of-state garment manufacturer.
- Used garments are pre-shrunk, and pre-softened!
- Abercrombie jeans can cost $100 at the mall, we have them at an average cost of $12

Consignment News
We are now accepting Summer clothing!
Generally, we are looking to accept items that
families will be shopping for in May/June:
March 31 was the deadline for accepting prom or Easter items.
We especially need communion outfits for boys.
Note: We are no longer able to take toys due to more strict Government regulations.
This week we need more:
exersaucers, safety gates, pack n play playpens
booster high chairs, potty chairs,
communion outfits for boys
mall brand teen clothing for boys and girls
We look through up to 30 consignments:
Mon 10-6:30
Wed 10-6:30
Fri 10-5
Sat 10-6:30
(Please do not bring more than 30 with you. It is too
crowded in the backroom for you to find a spot to sort and count out 30
items while you are here. We appreciate your adherence to this policy
and so will the consignors who are in line with you. :) )

We hear that there are a lot of movie-goers anxiously awaiting the opening of the new Hannah Montana movie! The movie will be in theaters on April 10. We have many tee shirts and other items printed with with Hannah Montana in several sizes! They are already priced far lower than you'd pay even at the big discount stores, but between now and April 10 you can get an additional 10% off any Hannah Montana item at Mother & Child.

alive. Vermicompost is the end-product of
the breakdown of organic matter by various species of earthworm. Containing water-soluble nutrients, microbes,
and bacteria; vermicompost is an excellent, nutrient-rich organic fertilizer
and soil conditioner. Compared to
ordinary soil, the worm castings contain five times more nitrogen, seven times
more phosphorus and 11 times more potassium. They are rich in humic acids and
