- Start your day with a muffin and coffee at The Riverwalk Cafe. Grab some bags of locally-roasted coffee for the coffee connoisseurs on your list.
- Get yourself ready for the holidays with a facial and a manicure for yourself at Verde - green salon. Pick up a gift certificate while you are there.

- You will find something for everyone at the T-Shirt Bodega where you can buy one of their fun, pre-printed shirts, or have a shirt printed to order.
- My favorite Downtown Nashua shop :) is 1 World Trading Co. You may find that you do not need to go anywhere else! You will find fair-trade, locally-made and green gifts! Silhouettes Return...
Marcella
Comerford is a second-generation silhouette artist, classically
trained under the tutelage of her mom. She has been around the silhouette
profession since she was nine years of age, either entertaining small,
wide-eyed children while their silhouettes were cut for family
heirlooms or helping her mother with her business, always watching and
learning in preparation for the time when she would be cutting as
well. Marcella
loves the art of silhouettes, the way that an image of an almost
unbelievable likeness to the subject appears mysteriously out of a thin
piece of black paper, tiny Swiss scissors curving gently and swiftly
through an ordinary square to reveal an intricate and delicate portrait
as if from nowhere. Marcella states "This art is not only functional as
an end product, but is truly a captivating source of wonder and
entertainment for those observing. It is important to me to keep this
"lost art" alive and thriving, it is such a beautiful expression of
portraiture as well as an integral piece of our American heritage."
Marcella will visit M&C again on Nov 1 and Nov 29. Be sure to call as soon as you can to get your appointments. Each child's portrait will take about ten minutes. These appointments fill up quickly and people have absolutely loved the results! 603 886 6727

Consignor News We are
reminding you --and asking you to remind your friends-- to please call within the hour that you want to bring consignments to ask if we
are able to take them.
Thank you. :) (This
season we have seen such an increase in consignments that we really
cannot predict how full our back room will be a day or two ahead.) We do answer the telephone starting at 9 AM in the mornings.
603 886 6727 -ask for a business card during your next visit.
more reminders:
1. please do not park in the truck-turn-around,
and please use the back entrance for loading and un-loading only.
Please pull around front to park after unloading consignments.
2. please sort and count your items at home, as our consignment area is
small and gets congested. Additionally, we find that many people are
thinking that we will TAKE 30 items and
so they will bring more than 30 thinking that we will keep looking
until we find 30 items that we think will sell.. The rule is that we
look though not more than 30 items. Please do not bring more than 30 items with you. Thank you.
