20-year-old, who grew up at Mother & Child, and whose entrepreneurial spirit sprang into high gear with
this venture, sells the work of designers so unbelievably talented,
you'll do a double take when you discover they're handmade.

Start Simple: Recycled Plastic Milk Jugs:
They use recycled milk containers as the main ingredient in creating their
toys. Yes, the exact plastic milk jugs that you and your family drink
from every day. When you finish your milk and toss the container in the
recycling bin, these milk containers are collected at your curb by a
local recycling company, who then sorts them from all the other types
of plastic. Next, the milk containers are reprocessed into super clean
fresh plastic.
Less Transportation, Less Energy:
All
Green Toys products are 100% made in the USA. To be more specific, they
are produced in California, a state known for strict toy safety and
environmental laws. It's cool to buy USA,
but also think about this: transportation is one of the biggest
contributors to greenhouse gasses. We all know driving less is good for
mother nature, but did you ever think about how many miles a toy logs
before it ends up in your local store?
Our
toys are truly local creations. Every step in the process, from milk
container recycling to toy production to final assembly, occurs in
California. Our raw materials and toys aren't shipped from overseas,
which saves a lot of energy and reduces greenhouse gasses. It also
guarantees your toys won't get seasick before they get to your home!

We carry many hand-made items that are made with love, right in NH. Brian O'Hare is a potter who created "Mommy Mugs" when his wife was pregnant. He was admiring her pregnant shape, which made inspired him to create a beautiful mug that mimics the pregnant body. These make a great gift for an expectant mom!

We have received lots of great feedback about the new arrangement of products in the store. It is all so logical and orderly, that we don't think you will feel at all confused or frustrated. In fact, you may realize that we carrry some items that you never noticed before.

Consignor News
We ask that you be sure of the following:
1. all items have been freshly and thoroughly cleaned
2. you have not packed more than 30 items
3. you call, on the day you are coming, to confirm that we can take more of what you have to bring.

Reminder: We do not take/sell any adult clothing except for maternity clothing. We take only children's (baby to teen) and maternity clothing. If you want us to donate a few articles of off-season, or adult clothing for you, PLEASE PUT THEM IN A SEPARATE BAG AND LABEL THE BAG "FOR DONATION."
In June we do not accept much clothing. What we do take mut be very Summery. Please call just before you bring consignemnts to be sure that we are able to take the sizes and items that you have to bring.
We do need more:
Summer, very up-to-date mall-brand clothing for teens
very up-to-date, Summer Maternity clothing
very clean high chairs
toddler beds
exersaucers
very clean potty seats
very clean booster seats (for at the table)
very clean step stools
We do not accept any consignments (this includes drop and run consignments) on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
It is always a good idea to call ahead, whenever you are bringing consignments, to be sure we have room for more of whatever you have to consign.

If the product is concentrated, you will have less packaging to dispose of. If you recycle the container, then the only thing you have reduced the amount of waste involved to just the cap.

on fabrics and colors. Concentrated, low-sudsing formula is perfect for
both front and top loading machines.
BioKleen's Free & Clear Laundry Liquid (available at 1 World Trading Co.) is fragrance free, and like all
Biokleen products, is clear of dyes and brighteners. Removes the
toughest dirt, grease, stains, and odors. Rinses clean without leaving
residue on clothes. It is also very concentrated.
(Why do we sell 2 different brands? Simply becasue we buy from 2 different distributors. The products are similar in quality and price.)
