Newbury that specializes in handmade goods, isn't your grandma's - or
even your big sister's - crafts fair. Keara Sexton, a tenacious
20-year-old, who grew up at Mother & Child, and whose entrepreneurial spirit sprang into high gear with
this venture, sells the work of designers so unbelievably talented,
you'll do a double take when you discover they're handmade.
1 World Trading Co. --Purveyors of products that are Good for the planet and the people who live on it-- is located 1t 111 Main Street, in Nashua, and is a member of 1% for the Planet. Many businesses donate a percentage of their
total profits or a percentage of the sales of particular products to
environmental or social non-profit organizations. 1% for the Planet members give 1% of their
annual sales to environmental organizations.

"Congrats" to employees Lee, Veronica, Leah, and Sara who all graduate from High school next month!
Well...
We just can't stop thinking of ways to improve the shop.
We have completely re-arranged the front of the shop so that the toys, books and music are all to your left, when you walk in the door. All of the full-price, new cothing and accessories are to your right. One aisle is all of our fun brands, like Kidorable rain gear, Robbeez shoes, and Flap Happy. The other aisle is completely organic, then handmade. All of the natural-parenting products, such as the cloth-diapering, baby-wearing, and breastfeeding products are behind the cash counters, and the feeding and safety products are along the side of the cash counter.
We think you are going to love it!

Consignor News
We ask that you be sure of the following:
1. all items have been freshly and thoroughly cleaned
2. you have not packed more than 30 items
3. you call, on the day you are coming, to confirm that we can take more of what you have to bring.

Reminder: We do not take/sell any adult clothing except for maternity clothing. We take only children's (baby to teen) and maternity clothing. If you want us to donate a few articles of off-season, or adult clothing for you, PLEASE PUT THEM IN A SEPARATE BAG AND LABEL THE BAG "FOR DONATION."
In June we do not accept much clothing. Please call just before you bring consignemnts to be sure that we are able ot take the sizes and items that you have to bring.
We do need more:
Summer, very up-to-date mall-brand clothing for teens
very up-to-date, Summer Maternity clothing
very clean high chairs
toddler beds
very clean potty seats
very clean booster seats (for at the table)
very clean step stools
We do not accept any consignments (this includes drop and run consignments) on Tuesdays or Thursdays.
It is always a good idea to call ahead, whenever you are bringing consignments, to be sure we have room for more of whatever you have to consign.
