Grantees' Limited
Engagement With Foundations' Social Media
A new report by The Center for Effective Philanthropy
shows that despite foundations' growing use of social
media, few grantees are engaging with their funders'
social media. Among the different modes of communication grantees use with foundations, social media is not seen by grantees to be as helpful as other communication resources,
according to the report. On average, grantees find social media to be less helpful for learning about
the foundation than individual communication with foundation staff, group meetings with foundation staff, foundations' published funding guidelines and foundations' websites. |
