Greetings!
Hello,
We had the pleasure recently of doing a concert in the park for the Burbank Library. It was a great time with families, picnic baskets, kids and even dogs. Everybody had fun!

I hope you all had a Happy Fourth. I'm a Fourth baby! I remember well as a kid thinking that the fireworks were for me!

Fairfield Four |
 |
Gospel music is the basic from which much of soul, funk and even jazz springs. Music greats like Sam Cooke, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and Patti LaBelle all started with gospel. Among the more amazing practitioners of acapella gospel vocals is the Fairfield Four. They have been performing as a group since 1921!
Isaac 'Dickie' Freeman (bass) has been with the group since the 40's. Check out this soul stirring version of
"Dig A Little Deeper" by clicking on the picture to your right.

Dancing To The Music |
|
We performed a lot of jazz "hits" along with some popular audience participation songs like "My Girl". With me on this date were Roman Sirwinski on bass and Bob Sullivan on drums.
Some of our audience got up for some spontaneous dancing. Fun gig!
