| VAI Team Member Spotlight

 Dennis Leidall recently joined the Venture Acceleration
Initiative VAI as a full-time Program Manager. Dennis
brings close to a decade of experience in helping to support start-up
ventures, having worked with the CONNECT organization at UC San Diego
and founded CONNECT Northwest in Spokane, Washington. He is also an
experienced entrepreneur in his own right.
Dennis
will be focused on consolidating many of the new programs launched by
VAI over the past few months to ensure the long-term operational
consistency and efficiency of the services offered by the organization.
He will also be providing direct consulting support to campus
entrepreneurial ventures.

As our new organization evolves and goes through a similar growth phase
to that faced by many of the start-ups we support, we continue to see
