Prom season 2011 is over. Abby's Closet is proud to have helped over 2,000 high school women attend their special event in a beautiful formal gown. We could not have done it without you. Thanks for your support.
As we all enjoy the long-awaited summer, Abby's Closet is already making plans for next year's Prom Gown Giveaway. Please continue to donate gowns and accessories, so we can help young women's prom dreams come true in 2012. Donations can be taken to any of the wonderful businesses who are our DONATION DROP-OFF SITES. Enjoy the summer! |

STUDENT ADVISORY BOARD | | |
We are so proud of the 12 high school women who served on this year's Student Advisory Board. They helped organize dress donation drives, assisted with PR, outreach and fundraising, worked tirelessly at this year's Prom Gown Giveway and May Day Tea, and gained additional leadership and organizational skills while learning more about nonprofit organizations.

Thanks to all of these young women, but especially to those who are graduating high school and leaving the Student Board: MADDIE POLAK(Lakeridge), DANNI METKI (Lakeridge), LAURA AGUON (Gresham) and CHRISTINA ARRINGTON (David Douglas). We will miss you ladies! Thanks for your dedication and commitment to Abby's Closet.
If you will be a high school Sophomore or Junior and are interested in serving on the 2011-2012 Student Advisory Board, please visit our WEBSITE for further information and an application (due Aug. 1). |
