The high school prom season is fast approaching and hundreds of high school women are looking for that perfect dress to wear. Abby's Closet is ready to help!

 | We are preparing for our "6th Annual Prom Gown Giveaway" to be held April 10th (8am - 5pm) and April 11th (10am - 2pm) in the Exhibit Hall at the DoubleTree Hotel - Lloyd Center. We expect to provide a collection of more than 4,000 gowns from which students may select a beautiful, free gown.
It's not too late to clean out your closet and Donate Formal Gowns you no longer wear. Evening handbags, formal wraps, jewelry and small giveaway items are also needed. Donations can be taken to any of our 40 Donation Drop-Off Sites. All donations are tax-deductible as allowed by law.

Tickets Are Now On Sale
You are invited to attend the "2nd Annual Abby's Closet Tea and Silent Auction" on Saturday, May 1st, 1:00-3:00 pm at the Lakewood Center for the Arts in Lake Oswego. Do you have a fun hat to wear? If so, you might just win a prize!
Once again, friends of Abby's Closet will be providing delicious treats and special teas. The table decorations will be spectacular, with an eclectic mix of collector tea cups and tea pots. We will have some special presentations and honor this year's Student Advisory Board members.
Tickets are $25 each and are NOW ON SALE. Host a table and invite your family and friends to join you (up to 8 people). This will be a very special afternoon, plus it will help fund next year's Prom Gown Giveaway.
Donations for the raffle and silent auction would be most appreciated. Let us know if you have anything to contribute.

Abby's Closet on TV
Be sure to watch Fox 12's Better Portland TV show next Tuesday, March 30, 1 pm. Andy Carson interviewed Board member, Rachael Wallace, about Abby's Closet. Student Advisory Board members modeled some beautiful gowns. Thanks to our friends at Blush Beauty Bar for doing their make-up. They all looked gorgeous!
