March 2010
Friends of Abby's Closet ~

Abby's Closet has made a difference in the lives of more than 5,000 teens by collecting formal gowns and providing them, FREE, to high school women. Dresses have been needed for prom, Rose Festival Princess, Miss Portland and Miss Black Oregon candidates. As April 10th & 11th approach, we anticipate giving away more than 2,000 formal gowns. Thank you for your help in making these young women's prom dreams come true.

"Abby's Closet is more than about giving away dresses. It's about giving hope to young women and showing them that they are cared about."
 - Tori Hamachek, former Abby's Closet Student Advisory
Board & University of Oregon student

Abby's Closet is run entirely by volunteers. We could not exist without your generous support. We hope you will volunteer to help at this year's giveaway event and purchase a ticket to attend our major fundraiser, The 2nd Annual Abby's Closet Tea, on May 1st (details below).  Of course, cash and formal gown donations are always welcome too.
