Greetings!
The holidays are upon us, and 2007 is coming to an end. At this special time of year, we want to remember to give thanks. Thanks to each of YOU for volunteering your time, talents and treasury to help young women. Every week we receive notes from families who have been touched and helped by Abby's Closet. Please know that they very much appreciate this program. Wishing you and your family a very happy holiday season. |

HELP PROM DREAMS COME TRUE |

Year-End Donations Needed
Abby's Closet is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping high school women. It is run completely by unpaid volunteers. As you consider year-end donations, we hope you will remember us. With a cash donation of only $50, we are able to purchase additional gowns to ensure our give-away racks are full. Approximately 25% of our cash donations are spent on prom gown purchases, 25% on storage, 25% for the Prom Boutique (dress give-away event) and 25% for marketing. We rely on private and corporate donations for this program. It's easy to donate. Just go to the PayPal button below.
Briana, Amanda and Alyssa (shown below) were so appreciative of this program. Thanks to your generosity, they each received a beautiful gown to wear and enjoy at their prom. They sent us the following comments: "Abby's Boutique is amazing. We volunteered to help set-up and met all the amazing people that are Abby's Closet. When the event started, we each found our perfect dress. We had a wonderful morning!"

| Dress Give-Away Event
Mark your calendar and plan on joining us at the 4th Annual Prom Boutique (dress give-away event). It will be held Sat.-Sun., April 5-6, 2008 at the Oregon Convention Center. This event is open to any high school student who needs a free gown for her prom. Lots of volunteer help is needed, so save these dates. More details to follow as we get closer to the big event. See Abby (center) in the photo below, along with some very happy young women.
 Formal Gown Donations Needed
Formal gowns (prom, bridesmaid, special occasion) are needed. Donations should be clean, in good repair and appropriate for a high school woman. There is a list of donation drop-off sites on our website. All donations are tax deductible. |

We also want to thank our volunteers at the University of Oregon and Oregon State University.

| Are You Connected to a High School?
We need help ensuring that all students receive our flyers and hear about the Prom Boutique (give-away event). If you are connected to a high school, ex. teacher, parent or student, and would be willing to be a contact, please email us your name and the school's name and city. |

| Empty Space Needed (Jan.1-Apr. 15)

We are desperately searching for a ground-floor space to use to sort, tag, box and store prom gowns. Please email or call us if you have anything available for suggestions. |
