2012 Camp Reflections- Told by YOU
As Spotlight Summer Camps come to a close, check out some of the amazing feedback! We've been encouraged and blessed by the responses!

"I should tell you that my son is incredibly shy when it comes to performing in any way, so when he said (shyly) that he wanted to try [Camp], I was shocked. And then I got really scared for him. What if he got there and realized he didn't want to stay? What if he didn't fit in? Imagine my surprise when he came home the first day and told me that "Camp was AWESOME!!!" I was shocked. I am SO thankful to you and to the entire staff for being so welcoming and for allowing us to be a part of this organization." -Courtney Walsh. (Spotlight Parent & NY Times Best Selling Author)

"Before camp, I had been praying to somehow get closer to God, but I felt like I wasn't connecting with him. It felt like a call gone straight to voice mail. During Purity talk at camp, that all changed. I understood why my calls were being rejected. I was trying to reach God as another person, as if I was calling him and showing up as 'Unknown.' God knew I wasn't being myself because I wanted to "impress" other people. God didn't ditch me though; he had always been there to pick me up when I fell." -2012 Camper

"Going into High School camp 2012 I was lead by my previous understanding of last summer, although, as soon as I got there, I could feel something was different. I was more excited than ever to be there. My camp experience was truly a blessed and one that I cannot get over. I was insecure, lost and headed to being someone I'm not. I was showered on with new understandings. God was working through me this week to let me know that he still had my back." -2012 Camper

"Before camp, I had been struggling with feeling Gods love and mercy. It seemed, every time I prayed I couldn't get anything out of it. I felt as if I was unworthy. At camp we had the opportunity to get our feet washed by the counselors. I felt so unworthy and that it would be wrong for me to get my feet washed.  A counselor explained to me how NO ONE there deserved to get their feet washed, and we were all unworthy but that's the beauty in God. That counselor personally washed my feet and prayed over me." -2012 Camper
