Issue #3
Greetings!
Spring shows are almost complete (go see Snow White June 4-6 in Kenosha!) and we are excited about summer and our 2010-2011 season! We had some awesome spring productions and wanted to share some great audience feedback on McHenry's Les Mis!

"My friend who is a SAG and AFTRA member was impressed with the voices and caliber of talent.  He saw the show on Broadway with the original cast and said 'they did the show justice - I was not expecting that' ".

"I had to take a minute to tell what a "jaw dropping" show Les Mis was. It was completely professional from beginning to end!!"

If you love the Point help us spread the word by sending it to your friends. You can also find old issues under "About Us- Newsletters" on our website!

Family Memories by Joe Bennett
Jillian
My daughter is 4. We took her to Peter Pan in Rockton when she was 3. This year we've taken her to Little Mermaid in Huntley and to Aladdin in Rockford just today. We have had such wonderful experiences each and every time. The first time was magical because we had no idea what to expect. The second time she was very afraid of the Sea Witch. Your staff comforted her and she wasn't afraid for long. Then afterwards she met the young lady who played the Sea Witch, and it turned out to be a picture perfect ending to a wonderful day. Today our whole family fell in love with the production of Aladdin. I'm a 37 year old man and it was a very emotional experience; the Bollywood-style dancing was so good it gave me chills. Afterwards my daughter once again got to meet the main characters - Aladdin, Jasmine, and the Genie - and they all treated her like she was very special. I just want to thank you all and your amazing casts for such a sweet and important experience for our little girl; these are memories that our family will treasure.
