Welcome to Storyboard! Welcome to another issue of Storyboard, our latest approach to illustrating the future of Health Entertainment Media. As we enter our fifth year of storytelling, Life Love & Health
remains America's most listened-to daily health and lifestyle program,
reaching over 6.1 million listeners on terrestrial or satellite radio,
on the web, in retail-store broadcasts, or on custom webcast channels.
You'll hear about challenges and choices, about serious medical
conditions, radical priority shifts and quality of life issues. We
tell the stories of things that unite us as human beings. And it's all
about Life Love & Health. |

Highlights of the Month "Start!" Donny Osmond, boy wonder of the entertainment world, recently turned 50, but it's not slowing him down. In his latest role as celebrity spokesperson for the American Heart Association, Donny wants you to take the Start! challenge online -- and then step away from that computer and take a 30-minute walk. Every day. For life.
"Making a Difference in Healthcare" Brian Robinson might be CEO of a billion dollar health care system, but it took a gentle reminder from his daughter to put him back in touch with his original mission: making things better for patients, doctors and staff. Hear how this led him to the Studer Group, a health care consulting firm that shares his mission.
"Real Relaxation" If you want to relax your body, you have to relax your mind. Dr. Frank Staggers at Northern California's Haight Ashbury Free Clinics suggests that reading a book to unwind is only slightly less stimulating than being chased by wild animals. Learn why it's so healthy to unwind in natural settings. Peaceful ones, of course.
"Brain Power" Think mind reading is the stuff of bad sci-fi or circus sideshows? Well, think again. That's what LLH hosts Alison Ewing and Christopher Springmann do in this amusing little moment about new brain scanning technology and its possible uses. Therapeutic practice? Great idea! Commercial applications? Hold that thought...

The Power of Networking
Last month we spoke about Professional Research Consultants, Inc. posting a webcast of our interview with Dr. Bill Van Ness II of Community Hospital Anderson. Well, it seems that we helped inspire PRC to launch a new online feature called PRC Radio Network. Clearly there's power in the idea of online audio where interesting people deliver critical messages. Can we help you, too? Talk to LLH's Andrew Goldfarb. |

Coming in June 2008
Listen to your body. What do you hear? Body Language. Life Love & Health is moving ahead with plans for a one-hour weekly national show. Body Language will reflect the public's increased commitment to what the Mayo Clinic calls "the new approach to using the best of natural therapies and conventional medicine." Listen to Body Language define the conversation as alternative, complimentary and integrative approaches move from the edge to the center of people's perception about what American healthcare really is.

Looking Ahead
This just in from the Motor City: the Detroit Free Press awarded its Gadget of the Year title to Ford Motor Company's new Sync system for onboard audio. Ford partnered with Microsoft to add Sync as an affordable option to some of its 2008 models, allowing drivers to keep both hands on the wheel while using voice commands to interact with their iPods and cell phones. And if your phone gives you access to Internet radio, there we are. Ford Focus, Fusion and Edge drivers are already listening to Life Love & Health. So if you want us to put your health messages out there, your audience just got bigger. And according to BusinessWire, the US online ad market will double in the next three years, hitting $50.3 billion. It's time to let LLH help you reach your target audiences in their cars, at their computers or wherever they listen.
