135th Westminster Kennel Club All Breed Dog Show
February 14-15 · Live Coverage on USA & CNBC 
Held at Madison Square Garden in NYC, this show is "America's second longest continuously held sporting event, behind only the Kentucky Derby." Many of the area's top dogs compete in this prestigious Show. In 1999, a papillon named Kirby, won the Best in Show! Be sure to take a peak at these fine purebred specimens.

 When Arwen, an 8 month old Golden Retriever, presented for limping in one of her front legs, it was innocently assumed that she had pulled a muscle during puppy play. When she did not respond to the usual course of rest and anti-inflammatory drugs, she was sent to an orthopedic surgeon for evaluation. It was discovered that the elbow joints in both front legs had not formed properly and at this young age were already arthritic. Surgery was recommended. Unfortunately, following surgery, her joints continued to deteriorate and she was faced with.....
