Lose something

at the Fair?

Wooden Indian

Here our cigar store Indian presents for the viewing some of the many items turned in during the course of the Waterford Fair--camera filters and lens caps, sun- and eyeglasses, and car keys, lonely single baby socks, jackets, a camera, fanny pack, and shirts. And a dropped package.

Please call or email the Foundation office (540-882-3018) if you find you have left something behind. We hope we can reunite some items with their owners.

Fair favorites available online soon

Our new fair poster, Fair totebag, Waterford wrapping paper created from Valerie Schaem's cherished tiles of village buildings, and pewter tree ornaments created by K&S Pewter, will soon be available for purchase on our website. Check back soon!

A SPECIAL WATERFORD CONCERT SERIES INVITATION

Join Us for

An Enchanting Evening

on Furnace Mountain

The Waterford Concert Series cordially invites you to a very special evening on Sunday, October 23, from 4 to 7 p.m. Join us for delicious local cuisine and wines, spectacular views, and the fine Appalachian music of Furnace Mountain at the Restaurant at Patowmack Farm

The Piedmont Virginian calls the ethno-Appalachian music of Furnace Mountain:  "Like the mountains and rivers, their sounds reflect the soul of the region."

Patowmack Farm's award-winning Executive Chef Christopher Edwards will present the best of Loudoun's just-picked local, organic, seasonal bounty. Patowmack Farm sits high on a hill overlooking the Potomac Patowmack Farm gazeboRiver, featuring one of the most spectacular views in all of Loudoun.

Enjoy the feast and the views with award-winning local wines from Fabbioli Cellars and Tarara Winery.

Hurry to make your reservations now using either the attached form  or order your tickets ($75 each) by clicking on the link on the calendar at left. Space is limited!!

Proceeds will go to helping bring the concert series back to the Old School Auditorium (now under construction).

So many thank yous to give...

...to all those who made the 68th Waterford Homes Tour & Crafts Exhibit such a success.

To the villagers of Waterford, who with their gracious hospitality and tireless work, share their beautiful historic village with the nation each year.

To all of our volunteers (over 400 of them), who cheerfully donate thousands of hours and share their talents and expertise to make this Fair what it is.

To all of our artisans, whose demonstrations of their skills teach us about the skills and tools of heritage crafts, and whose beautiful work draws visitors from across the nation.

To our reenactors, who thrilled the crowds with skirmishes, cavalry charges, and music, brought alive the sights and sounds of Waterford during the Civil War.

To all of the civic clubs who are our partnering organizations, providing parking services, traffic management, a variety of foods booths, and educational exhibits.

To all of our business sponsors and individual donors, who so generously help underwrite some of our expenses for this event.

To all who came to the Waterford Fair, with smiles on their faces and joy in their hearts.

And, To Mother Nature, who brought us three bright and beautiful days. The 2011 Waterford Fair will be long remembered--thank you!
