Marks family enchants again in Waterford

On August 14, members and friends of the Marks family gave us a memorable concert at the Catoctin Presbyterian Church in Waterford. Their decision to play five short pieces by area composers was a pleasant surprise, and one that involved the audience in voting for their favorite. What a generous gesture to foster other local talent and give us all something to look forward to next year when the winner is commissioned to produce a full-length composition for their summer concerts.

At the performance's conclusion, the audience was charmed to be introduced to some of their small children, an assurance that this remarkably talented family will endure to delight still another generation.
