Tampa Hispanics Strengthen, Restore & Connect with La Conexión Latina! Every Sunday at 3:00 PM

La Conexión Latina is a Christian Spanish Ministry for the Tampa Bay Hispanic Community, that holds services every Sunday at 3 PM. These services are presently held at the Without Walls International Church in Tampa, Florida (located near the intersection of Dale Mabry and Columbus at 2511 N. Grady Avenue 33607). Dedicated to evangelism, restoration and a place where the Hispanic Community can learn the basic principles of how to live a prosperous and victorious life, "La Conexión Latina" makes a positive difference in the lives of many by expanding on their vision: Connect, Grow and Impact! This vision began over 3 years ago with Pastors Miguel and Sandra Salas who saw a need for the Hispanic community to achieve and fulfill their destiny and purpose in their own lives. "We want to show Hispanics how to make a difference in their own life and in the life of others around them. This is achieved by finding an intimate relationship with God," says Pastor Miguel Salas. The Ministry consists of several other ministries, where the community can make a "Conexión," such as children classes and childcare, men and women's outreaches, translators, help ministry, greeters, ushers, musicians and other artistic talents. They have a variety of special events during the year for the whole family to enjoy such as group visits to Disney and other attractions, picnics, fishing, etc.
Their once a month fellowship event, "Cafe Caliente" which is held on the last Sunday of every month at 3pm.
For this monthly event, everyone can enjoy great music in several Latin genres, terrific conversations to strengthen the spirit and soul, make new "Conexions", and enjoy delicious Cuban coffee and bread with other delicacies! In speaking about "La Conexión Latina," Pastors Miguel and Sandra mention that, "One of the things that set us apart is that we really care for each person as an individual." There are many hurting people out there and we are in the "restoring lives" business through and with the power of God. Miracles are for today and God is a miracle working God and nothing is impossible for those that truly believe. We have people from all backgrounds, ethnicity and even those that do not understand Spanish, but love the spirit in which the services are conducted. Everyone is welcomed and even if they do not speak or understand Spanish, "they will always feel at home." "La Conexión Latina" services are always held in Spanish and provide English translation for those individuals that need it. They also provide children's classes and childcare. For more information call 813-870-7583 or write to laconexionlatina@withoutwalls.org. Also they can be followed on Facebook, "La Conexión Latina". |
Church Launches New Spanish Service in Tampa Area
Beginning Sunday, February 13, there will be a new place for our Spanish-speaking community to worship. The Crossing Church has had a vision to reach the Spanish-speaking people in our community for some time now, says Pastor Dumas, and with the arrival of Pastor Dave, we are able to see that vision come to light.
