Rev. Barry will do a 'brand-new' New Day and very
inspirational music, and Rev. Kathleen Verigin will offer contemporary insights into the ancient story of Jesus riding into Jerusalem on what has become known as Palm Sunday.
Prior to His fateful entry into the "city of peace," three times Jesus finds his beloved and devoted disciples asleep. "Rise, let us go!" Jesus commands. And still they slept.
Reflect on your own life. Where are you drifting asleep at a time when your attention and action are required?
Reflect on the state of the world. What would it take to stay awake and be a part of the global solution?
Reflect on the merging of Celebration Church and Unity of Beaverton: Will you choose to stay awake and enter the "city of peace" together?
Rev. Kathleen asks the questions, and together we will explore the possibilities. Plan to wake up and stay awake for a new experience of this inspiring time of year.
