Hello my friends,

First I would like to say what a blast last Sunday was. Rabbi Neil rocks. It was also a very exciting and possibility-filled family meeting. Thank you.

This Sunday we are profoundly blessed, as always, to have Rev. Kathleen Verigin with us, taking us to the "Fringe."  
In communicating with Kathleen this week it has become enlightening to realize we are all living on the "Fringe."    
Theodore Roosevelt said,  "every reform movement has a lunatic Fringe." Are we the lunatics or are we the enlightened Fringe, dancing into a new reality.

In the Old Testament we read:

The Lord said to Moses: "Speak to the Israelites, and tell them to make fringes on the corners of their garments."

These fringes on their garments served a purpose.
 It was to remind the people that they lived on the Fringe  
 as they began to incorporate the Commandments of God
 into their life. This was a fringe of transformation.

I look forward to dancing on the Fringe with you this Sunday.
