Greetings!

Read the funniest article about us in the Oregon Music News just out!

Tomorrow we go to Homespun in Woodstock, New York to teach absolute beginners how to play and sing in minutes with a DVD and downloads. Using our Kala travel tenors & sweet Mya-Moe ukes, we will record our Ukalaliens™ method to make it easier than ever for people who have never made music before to be able to join in the fun. Thanks to Happy & Jane Traum for inviting us to create a perfect way to help absolute beginners learn to play and sing.

After that, it's a writers round at Roots Cafe on 6/23 in Brooklyn and a very special concert at High Valley camp where Steve first learned to play guitar in 1962, hosted by The Maeve Chronicles author and songwriter, Elizabeth Cunningham.

Get your tickets now to see and hear us in Portland at new Alberta Rose Theatre with Anne Feeney & Dick Weissman on Wednesday, July 7th!

The Sitka Center in Otis, Oregon brings the Ukalaliens to the Neskowin School on Saturday, July 9th for a special morning intermediate uke class and afternoon Ukalaliens Workshop and Singalong! Get your copy of Rise Up Singing, grab your uke (or borrow one from us) and come to the Oregon coast to play and sing with Kate & Steve. Contact Sitka or call (541) 994-5485 for reservations and information.

Next we head to Fishtrap for a week of "Spirit & Matter" after the Lavender Daze festival where we'll play amidst the purple haze overlooking Hood River, or you can join us at the end of July to sing around the campfire at Oxbow Park on 7/30!

Speaking of Fishtrap, the songwriting guru for this exquisite all-writers retreat is Cosy Sheridan. Sign up at Fishtrap and see what all the excitement is about in the Wallowa Mountains in eastern Oregon.
