Greetings from the Ozarks and the beautiful state of Missouri. Three more Ukalaliens workshops and then we head for
Oregon and home.
Speaking of home, we would like to find a place to live
that has space to teach, do art and music, write, work and live.
Imagining it, a loft with living quarters comes to mind but it could
be something we haven't thought of. Nothing fancy! Good natural light
and room for multiple projects. If you know of a space that might be
good for us, please let us know.
Our shows have been fantastic; from a 150
year-old theatre, "Thespian Hall" in Boonville, Missouri to a
newly funded library in Paonia, Colorado. We have intersected with
fellow music pilgrims such as Lil Rev, Rory Block, David Grimes, Red
Clay Ramblers and Ellen Stapenhorst.
The locals have opened their
homes and hearts to us and we have been well received and taken care
of everywhere we go.
Now as we turn back to the west, we
hope to find a home to continue the work we're doing and have a place
to enjoy life and family.
Thanks for thinking of us as we travel.
It's likely all those good thoughts have been keeping us safe and
sound as we round bend after bend.
Thanks for joining us at home on the road!
