Join the original Ukalaliens and sing and play with Steve & Kate this Tuesday! Absolute beginners preferred!
We are making a video of Ukalaliens in action and WE NEED YOU! Learn your first 3 chords on the ukulele from 7-7:30 and be in the movie! Bring your uke or borrow a Kala from us! We'll have a dozen ukes to share.
Show up for happy hour at 6:30, settle in with a ukulele at your table and we'll kick off the Ukalaliens at 7. Full singalong at 7:30!
No ukulele experience necessary!
Tuesday nights at the Airplay Cafe on 7th & East Burnside. Sing your heart out with ukuleles, banjos, guitars and harmony with Portland folk, Kate Power & Steve Einhorn and a roomful of neighbors. Bring your voice & a copy of "Rise Up, Singing!". All ages are welcome. Beer, wine & food available.
