Greetings! Thanks to all of you from near & far for paving the way with gigs, hospitality and spreading the word about our music. And thanks for calling your local public radio stations to ask for our music - they listen to YOU, the listeners. We couldn't do it without you. We are happy to be putting together an exciting tour for the Fall. We will cross the country, play up
& down the east coast, back through the south and up the California
and Oregon coast home. We'll be posting our stops along the way on
our calendar at www.qualityfolk.com and adding dates as we confirm
bookings. With the high cost of flying with six (!) instruments, we will be packing our trusty Westy and heading east at the end of September. Our ukulele and song circle workshops have been such a hit that we've decided to offer them along the way. We are always struck by how many people there are who have always wanted to play or sing but for one reason or another are afraid to (until they come to our workshop!). If you know someone who would like to host our "Ukulaliens for Beginning Uke" or "How to Make Beautiful Music with Everybody" song circle workshop or a house concert, please have them contact us. Our friends at Kala Brand Ukulele are providing us with a fleet of ukes to teach our "Ukulaliens! Beginning Uke" to anybody anywhere, on the spot. If you are uke-curious, this is the workshop for you! Thanks for sharing the news about us with your friends and music shops
around the country by forwarding this email and thanks for being part of the adventure. - Kate & Steve |
