Portland, Oregon - November 7, 8 & 9, 2008CELEBRATE !
Musicians, Artists, Folkies, Friends!
Come One, Come All!
Former owner of musical instrument shop cuts violins into small pieces, removes necks from fine old guitars and glues them to anchovy cans! After spending twenty-five years of his life as purveyor of musical instruments at Artichoke Music, Steve Einhorn sold the farm and walked into his studio to spend the next two years between the drawing table and his workbench producing playable musical sculptures, whimsical drawings and photographs.
"I just want to make people laugh!", says Einhorn.
As part of November's First Friday Artwalk in lower southeast Portland, old friend and wood floor guru, Charlie Becker, will premier the current works of Steve Einhorn in the new artist space in CZ Becker Gallery at 15 SE 6th Avenue on November 7th through November 9th. Debut party Friday night. Musicians & adventure-seekers are encouraged to attend.
The following weekend the show will move to Stage One on Main Street in Enterprise in Wallowa County, Oregon on November 14-16th.
Einhorn's current work reflects the last two years of his life and love affair with music, people and places & things in Portland and home on the range in eastern Oregon.
