Greetings!
 Sometimes we wonder where the time goes, how to put the brakes on and slow down just enough to simply enjoy the quality of life around us. "Murphy" is at the wheel enough of the time to work us more than we plan to and pure fun is as elusive as a winning lottery ticket. Meanwhile, Portland's sky has put on its darkening cloak of autumn color and daylight is dimmer than just a few short weeks ago. Making room for a little music can go a long way to buoy our spirits back to a springy, chuckling, enjoyable balance.

Uke Basics with Kate & Steve!
Ukulaliens are multiplying by the month. Join the uke movement and sign up for Ukulaliens. It's easy to learn to play from scratch with Steve & Kate. Classes run from 6-7pm on Wednesdays at Artichoke Music. Ukecoffeehouse ($5) follows the class to sing some songs together with what you learn in class and a little bit more. Featured guests bring new light to your uke playing experience. Don't miss the fun. Learn to play and lighten your spirits for winter!
