Learn to Play UKE with Steve & Kate ... Start playing Ukulele and have fun!
4 Wednesdays in October from 6-7PM
All you have to do is register by sending a check for
$50 to Quality Folk, PO Box 12208, Portland, OR 97212-0208. There's
plenty of room for YOU to learn from scratch and find out what's so fun
about playing ukulele!
Steve & Kate will teach chords, strums and all the basics of playing this great little instrument.

Kate & Steve are bringing entertainment to the main stage for the 20th anniversary Cycle Oregon bicycle trip kicking off in Sisters, Oregon with the Sisters Folk Festival and Mary Flower & The Greencards, Houston Jones in LaPine, Robbie Laws Trio in Diamond Lake, then Jon Koonce & McKinley; Zambuko marimba in Dorena Lake, Etouffee in Oakridge, Misty River in Rainbow, and Dennis McGregor & the Spoilers with tunes from Brad Tisdel on the last day back in Sisters. Local talent plays main stage during the day as the riders come in. The Big Ride runs from 9/8 to 9/15 pedaling a span of nearly 500 Oregon miles! |

Making music and friends at the Corn Festival in Beacon, NY, Kate & Steve followed Pete Seeger as he warmed up the crowd up with Turn, Turn, Turn & Abiyoyo, bringing people together with songs of peace, community and a better world. Making friends in every town and singing songs in new places, we traveled the east coast in August to play some shows, visit with family and follow the old roads into new memories.
