| SAVE THE DATE - ARTWN is Coming!
Public art is coming to Downtown Ferndale and you're invited to be a part of it -- see it, celebrate it, create it. The ARTWN buzz begins with a June 28th launch pARTy. The night will showcase an exciting 10-piece art installation and raise funds to continue to build the district's collection of public art and encourage its creative culture.
The 10 piece sculpture exhibit that is the centerpiece of ARTWN will be around town by mid-June. In addition, Downtown Ferndale will host 7-10 masterpieces via the Detroit Institute of Art's Inside/Out program.
The launch pARTy will be held from 6-10 pm, Thursday, June 28th at the Rust Belt Market. The evening will include an artist's reception, music, beverages, hors d'ouevres and tours. More details to follow.
