SAVE THOSE CORKS!
(They might take you to Portugal)

This holiday season when you are sipping wine at your holiday meals and parties, make sure you stick all the cork you can find in your pockets! Why? Because the person/group bringing the most wine corks to the Better Living Show will win a trip for 2 to Portugal courtesy of Willamette Valley Vineyards.

Willamette Valley Vineyards

Why Portugal? Because the Mediterranean area boasts 6.6 million acres of cork forest, which supports one of the world's highest levels of forest biodiversity, second only to the Amazon Rainforest.

Cork is a natural, renewable, recyclable and biodegradable material that is obtained through an environmentally friendly harvesting process.

Willamette Valley Vineyards is sponsoring a new national non-profit CorkReHarvest, dedicated to collecting cork for recycling and educating the public about the sustainability of cork.

So start saving up those corks now! (You can pool your cork with as many friends and co-workers as you like.) To be entered to win the trip, your cork must be delivered to the Better Living Show March 26-28, 2010. (Must be 21 years old to participate.)

Mongo Yurts at the 2009 Energy Trust Better Living ShowDo you sell a green product or service that would benefit from 40,000 new eyeballs? We invite you to consider the return on your investment that you get from a quality consumer show.

Be a part of the Northwest's largest sustainable lifestyle event. If your shop won't see 20,000 people in a weekend, put a sign on the door and tell 'em to visit you at the Portland Expo Center...and come to where the action is!

If you know of a product you'd like to see at the show, drop us a line and tell us about it. We'll invite them personally.
All the best,
