Greetings!
Energy Trust Better Living Show, March 26-28, 2010, Portland Expo Center
The Energy Trust Better Living Show turns 3!

To celebrate our maturity (hehe), we've launched a new website with dynamic tools especially for you. See story below for full details.

Our annual photo album is back, featuring pictures from the 2009 show. Check 'em out to see if you made the book of memories!

And finally, since we like to have fun, click on the P.S. at the end of this note for a link to a TV story featuring our very own Twitter-champ Michael O'Loughlin. (That's what he gets for letting me author the newsletter!)

  our HIGHEST recommendation

Formos Software Development Services

Formos, a local software engineering firm in Vancouver, WA is responsible for our terrific new website and the dynamic user tools that will be rolled out over the summer.

They receive our highest recommendation. If you are in need of dynamic, custom software development, we urge you to seek out Formos. You will have a terrific experience and end up with the results you are seeking.

Here's a few reasons why our experience was great:
  • Detailed scope documents and preplanning meetings
  • Weekly calls during development
  • Post call notes, with assigned action items
  • Responsive project management team
  • Company's Director of Sustainable Development, Martin Tull, is deeply active in the international sustainability movement
We'd be happy to share more details about the project. Feel free to contact Stephanie at stephanie@blueoceanevents.org

Speaking of New Websites...

With simplified navigation, enhanced promotional areas and an engaging voice, the new Energy Trust website is designed to make it easier for customers to find energy-saving solutions, understand benefits and get started. The site quickly directs users to Energy Trust cash incentives, contractors who can do the work and other resources appropriate for them. The site also makes it easier for trade allies to get the information they need about trainings, incentives, special events and resources specific to the programs they work with.

New Website Gives You Personal Solutions
Exhibitor Directory added to site

New Better Living Show website launched in August 2009.

You asked. We responded! The new website for the Energy Trust Better Living Show includes an Exhibitor Directory--the most requested content since we launched the show.

We are equally excited to give you a quick tour of two other valuable new tools to make the most of your show visit in March and give you access to green solutions all year long.

Plan Your Visit
The Plan Your Visit feature lets you mark speakers, seminars and presentations that you want to take in at the show and save them to a personalized event summary.

To get started you must first create a personal Better Living Show page (quick & free) to store your info.

You can also check off exhibitors in the directory that you plan to visit. They'll be saved to your printable summary as well.

New exhibitors and new activities are added to the schedule daily, so check back often for the most current information.

Eco Solutions
Eco Solutions allows you to search for green products and services on a broader scale. Instead of using the exhibitor search function to find businesses with a specific category of product, Eco Solutions allows you to search for all exhibitors related to large projects or lifestyle changes.

On many topics, you'll also find additional resources and information listed underneath the exhibitor section.

So go ahead, get clicking! We're thrilled with our new site, produced locally by Formos (see sidebar). Look forward to receiving your feedback. Oh, and check out the bottom of this note for a fun website contest!
