As I stood with the crowd admiring the achievement of our outstanding athletes, and feeling rather proud of all those shining gold medallions they've just brought home, I had to remind myself of the role I play every day, the day in and day out persistence that results in my bringing home the gold for our customers, our suppliers and of course my family and self. And none of us are any different, our work and efforts perhaps don't result in shiny medals, but instead they bring us even more, a life to be proud of and knowing that we too have contributed.

 

So it's all over! But wait a minute, it's not... now we get to cheer on the real champions, those who have struggled perhaps more than most, but through more practice, more persistence, more desire for improvement and unstoppable dedication, these paralympic athletes will inspire us to realize there's more to all of this than meets the eye.
