NVCC Human Resource Council Presents: Federal Health Care Reform @NVCC 8/5

On Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. at the Neponset Valley Chamber of Commerce, there will be a presentation by the Human Resources Council on the new Federal Health Care legislation.  We would be pleased if you join us.

The first new requirements of federal health care reform are upon us, and employers big and small are confused about this massive piece of legislation and how it applies to them.  In order to shed some light on this new law, Attorneys Tom Colomb and Brian Fox of Murphy, Hesse, Toomey & Lehane will discuss the new legislation and its impact on employers in Massachusetts.  The discussion will focus on the requirements facing employers as plan sponsors that are in effect now and that will taking effect in the very near future.  It will also offer a general overview of what is to come under this sweeping new legislation.
