TELECOMMUTING AND
EMPLOYEE USE OF ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION DEVICES

Leslie LockardEmployment Attorney Leslie Lockard  (The Law Office of Leslie Lockard) will speak on the topic of "Minimizing the Legal Risks of Telecommuting and Employee Use of Electronic Communications Devices".  Many employers allow employees to work from home, either routinely or temporarily. There are some circumstances in which employers are legally required to allow employees to telecommute. There are a surprising number of legal risks and considerations associated with telecommuting that you need to know and to handle appropriately. This presentation will give you the information you need to handle these matters correctly.

Please support the NVCC by helping us with our annual membership appeal.  We are asking all members to provide us with just one referral of someone you know who may benefit from participating in our organization. You can play a major role by inviting a guest to one of our "Spring Forward" After Hours gatherings. We love introductions!

Brian at workIf you can help, please contact Brian McGillicuddy at 781.769.1126 or brian@nvcc.com. I listened to Dave (not his real name) say how frustrated he is that again this winter, we have not had any blizzards here in Massachusetts. Dave wants excitement, he wants the whirling wind, beautiful high snow banks that he can stand on top of, and everyone coming out to enjoy the snow together. Using the power of his mind he has been trying to create a blizzard (outside of self) unsuccessfully.   Read More
